I know that I've had a fear of aliens.  A show came on in my mother's room about UFOs and I got freaked out.  I approached her door and attempted to close it and said to her, "I can't handle that".  She asked why, and I said, "Because, I just, no.  I, no.  I mean, I've seen shows like that and , uh-uh, no...just no, can't do that."  We got into a conversation about it and I said, "Kinda reminds me of when my bed head was knocking against my window sil and I got freaked out and thought it was an alien knocking on my window".  We both cracked up at that.  She said to me that she believes we were created from them.  The basic image of an "alien" has big eyes, a nose, mouth, arms, legs etc..  Similar to humans, I realised.  It bothers me, even today that some people are ignorant enough to say that Earth is the only planet with life on it; that humans are the only intelligent beings in the universe.  That's a laugh...think about it.  How big is your home?  How big is your city?  How big is your town?  How big is your county?  How big is your state?  How big is your country?  How big is your continent?  How big is half the world?  How big is the whole world?  How big is the solar system?  How big is the Milky Way?  How big, is the Universe?  How big is infinity?  Now, ignorant people, you mean to tell me, that out of all of the wide open space that you are likely NEVER to see with your own eyes, us humans are the only intelligent life forms?  Or that Earth is the only planet that breeds life?  Give me a really long break.  Earn a braincell.  If your still ignorant, your more ignorant that I thought you were.  Looks like I underestimated you.  Anyway, my mother said that if she ever saw a UFO, she'd be curious more so than afraid.  She's rather ask them questions rather than cower in fear of the unknown.  The life inside UFOs have advanced technology; how do you think they can zip through the sky so quick?  It seems a little scary, that technology can actually go that far...we just don't know about it yet.  It makes me think that the scientists we have now are pre-schoolers compared to Aliens.  It's bothering me now that I can think of no other name to call them except "them" or "aliens" or UFOs".  They have a name...oh dear, I'm sorry, not an invitation to come into my room and tell me one night! O_oU I shoudn't be afraid anymore.  They are a form of LIFE.  Just like me.
